In a powerful display of unity, Jamaican American Connection collaborated with 200 volunteers from 20 African American-led organizations, aligning with the theme “We Are One” to honor the profound life and enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The collective dedication translated into the packing and delivery of more than 300 bags of groceries, fostering support for the Women of the Village Community Pantry nestled within the Dixwell Community. This impactful endeavor not only pays homage to Dr. King but also actively contributes to the well-being of the community.
